Since the launching of their campaign "Our Votes Matter!" the Romanian team of #ActivistFactory has implemented several information workshops in different educational institutions in Ploiesti. The first workshop was implemented on 16th of April with 12th grade students at the Theoretical Highschool "Alexandru Ioan Cuza", and the second one followed on 18th of April at the Highschool "Mihai Viteazul".

Later on, on 23rd of April, the team started the day with an Open Space for AUSF volunteers and they finished it with a workshop for the students from the Oil and Gas University of Ploiesti, in partnership with the Students' League.Together they discovered more about active citizenship and why #ourvotesmatter.

Some more big events are on the way, including a big event to celebrate Council of Europe's Day and the Day of the European Union on 9th of May as well as an online Instagram challenge for their European friends.

HOW TO SUPPORT OUR CAMPAIGN We are trying to reach as many youngsters as possible, but not only. So if you want to join our movement and lend a helping hand in spreading the message here are some ways to do it:

1. Like us on Facebook: Our votes matter Follow us on Instagram: ourvotesmatter_23_may. Also don't forget to use #ourvotesmatter.

2. Stay tuned and watch our online posts closely because we'll launch a challenge (the challenge implies that you'll have to print out a poster with our design and the statistic of your country from 2014 european parliament elections and post it on your account adding in the description a reason WHY SHOULD WE VOTE THIS YEAR? and using #ourvotesmatter and #thistimeimvoting.

3. VOTE! on the 23rd -26th of May 2019 and send us pics/videos of you, your friends, your NGO's members right after voting. If you make a video, please use phrases like "This time I'm voting because our votes matter!", "Go and vote because our votes matter!" or another relevant statement in english connected with the importance of voting.

Every share is important so if you don't feel like taking a more active part, SHARING the message also helps!
