We want to carry out this campaign because the society is far too divided. Many people are sticking to their own culture instead of opening up to meet people of another cultural background. The consequences are social exclusion, unemployment, economic inequality, and criminality.

The campaign #Culturshok consisted in compiling stories from different people around the world about the questions "What is unique about your culture? Did you ever travel to a country where you experienced a new way of living or a special tradition?".

 

We would like to share these thoughts and experiences with others in order to throw a light on the advantages of a multicultural society. Immigrants enrich our culture and introduces us to new food, music, traditions, beliefs and interests among other things.
